Google Updates Page Ranks
Has anyone else noticed that Google updated website page ranks last week (10-30-09)? I manage a dozen sites or so and nearly all of those sites rose in PR, two stayed where they were. Must admit however I did have one site that dropped from a PR3 to a PR2. That’s my fault because I have not updated the site content or gained new inbound links for the site in about six months. I think this is a good example that Google prefers active sites.
To my surprise, I have two new sites that had a zero PR suddenly pop up to a 2 and a 3. I’m a bit baffled by this however; both sites have the same level of on-page SEO. The site that got a PR2 has better and more inbound links than the site that got a PR3 ranking. What’s that all about Google??
Anyone else have a similar experience???
